Have You Talked to Your People Lately?

If the president of the United States can get COVID-19 might they be concerned about your chances, and the potential implications on their futures?

Are Your People Worried?

During a period of lockdown or pandemic, people of all ages can feel lost or at risk. This impulsively drives them to seek out people for the human touch and connection. The necessity for social distancing while vital for our future health is not helpful in this respect. There are ways of helping to overcome this important need in human relationships.

People Need People

As a business owner, you surely are aware of this stress and uncertainty on a personal level. You might recall a time when you felt lost or alone but then a surprise telephone call came from out of the blue and it lifted your spirits. Do you remember how that made you feel? Can you imagine how the sound of your voice might lift the spirits of your people at this depressing time? In 1964, Barbra Streisand, as Fanny Brice in the movie Funny Girl sang “People”. Today just as it was back then people really do need people.

Connection and Community

Have you called your people, your business family, and your personal relationships recently? Would they be surprised by a call, a check-in to simply see how they are doing? Would this lift their spirits too and reassure them you are well? As the leader of your business how will this outreach make you feel? But more importantly, how Will It Make Your People Feel?

An Approach Just for You

The people in your business are your most precious resource. A connection can work to reward both you! It does not solve your financial challenges, but it may really motivate those who ultimately will, your people. It does help to reinforce that you all matter to each other! You are the other half of their lives. This is your community!

We have developed approaches which will help you get over any awkwardness you and your people might feel as you make this call. It must be your voice they hear, not an email. The objective is to touch their spirits while maintaining a no touch social distancing. This strengthens the bond of community and makes a human connection. I will share an appropriate approach with you and guide you through it as needed. If the people in your business are many or scattered in different places, there are approaches that will work for them too, without you having to make all the calls.

Next Steps for Acting Now

This approach is just a small step away. If you want to talk about it before ‘going it alone’, I ask you to complete the application as it will be used to ensure we have prepared the right approach for you and the number of people in your business.

Then schedule a phone call, choose a date, and time that works for you.

None of your contact information will be shared. I assure you this will be a most rewarding use of your time for you and highly motivating for your people. Again, please fill in the application and click “Submit” and then schedule your telephone call as today is your opportunity to influence the future of your business. And I know this is what really matters to you.
